Which way round
A pair is one YES on one app and one NO on the other. Exactly one of them pays $1.00, whichever way the question ends, so only the two prices added up matter.

Uneven sizes
Buy more of one side and you win more if it comes true. Up to a point, the other outcome still loses nothing. The bar shows how far you can tilt.

What the four sizes are
- Equal shares
- The same number on both sides: the same profit whichever way it ends.
- More on the underdog
- As much extra on the less likely side as you can buy while the likely outcome still gets its money back.
- More on the favorite
- As much extra on the likely side as you can buy while the underdog outcome still gets its money back.
- Balanced
- Halfway between: both outcomes make at least a cent, each the same share of its best case.
Kalshi sells whole contracts and Polymarket sells shares to 2 decimals, so each size is searched on those steps. A size that cannot avoid a loss at your amount says so and never changes your numbers.

For pairs whose apps decide the result differently, such as one paying on inauguration day and the other on the TV call. In that case neither side pays.
